Living lettuce holds longer. Roots stay on through delivery, so a case that would normally turn in three days holds a week or better in a walk-in. For a kitchen ordering once a week, that's the difference between using a case and throwing part of it out.

How it works

Tell us your volume

Cases per week and which days you receive. We'll tell you straight what we can commit to and what we can't.

We plant to your number

Seed to harvest is six to eight weeks depending on light, so we need four to six weeks of notice before a standing order starts.

Same day every week

We harvest and deliver on a fixed day. No brokers and no warehouse in between. You're talking to the people who grew it.

Simple invoicing

Net 30, PO numbers, whatever your program requires. We've been through district procurement and we know the paperwork.

Who we've grown for

  • Bristol Virginia Public Schools. Weekly Salanova lettuce since 2022 and still going. Happy to put you in touch with them.
  • USDA Farm to School. Supplied three school districts across Bristol, Washington and Tazewell counties until the federal program was cut in 2025.
  • Regional grocery. Nine-store retail program, packed and delivered by us.
  • System builds. We've designed, installed and trained staff on aquaponic systems for institutional partners, not just supplied produce.
On certification. Our Harmonized GAP certification lapsed when the Farm to School program ended in 2025. We can re-audit, and we will if your program requires it. Ask us early so we can schedule it around a planting cycle. We'd rather tell you this up front than have it come up in your procurement review.
